Cambodia
In December 2011, we visited Siem Reap in Cambodia to run in the Angkor Wat races. I did a 10k run. Outside the run, we visited Kampong Phluk on the Tonle Sap and crawled all over the temples around Angkor Wat. If you're looking for more about Cambodia, you'll need to go elsewhere.

In early December 2011, we went to Siem Reap for the annual Angkor Wat Half Marathon. Lucky for us, they had other options - like a 10k and a 3k race. I did the 10k.
We only had a few days, so we only got to visit the temples close to Siem Reap and the town of Kompong Phluk that sits on the shores of, near the shore of, or in the Tonle Sap, depending on the time of year. Kompong Phluk was one of the "Floating Villages".
